Yathra by Jetwing is the very first of its kind in Sri Lanka and an experience to be shared with family and friends. Inspired by the famed houseboats of the Kerala backwaters, Jetwing has upgraded the concept to the star class luxury associated with the brand. It consists of two air-conditioned cabins, charmingly designed with comfort alone in mind, along with attached bathrooms, private balconies, a lobby, an open lounge, a galley and a dining area. Yathra by Jetwing traverses the mysterious and beautiful Benthara River from Dedduwa Boat House by Jetwing, all the way to Avittewa, a small scenic hamlet located just 18km from Bentota.

When arriving at Yathra by Jetwing, guests will be greeted by our team with a fresh welcome drink followed by a short introduction and tour of the boat and cruise covering the facilities available on board. Guests can choose the time of the 5 hour cruise and even the cuisine served for meals whether it be Sri Lankan or Western. (it is recommended that advance notice of meal preferences be given 45 minutes prior to service).
The houseboat is fully staffed with a skipper, chef and butler, all there to cater to every need. During an overnight stay, the houseboat is docked for the night, ensuring that guests can explore the vicinity and come back to the boat if they wish.
